The Joy of Expecting a Baby Girl!
August 2008
As I write from Salt Lake City, UT on a consulting project, likely the last travel project before I deliver Baby Girl Melina, I continue to enjoy the expectation of having a girl. With a little growing discomfort as I approach the last trimester 90 days, I cannot get over the movement in my tummy at this stage. I have travelled to a higher altitude, not realizing the impact this could have on my pregnancy, but all appears to be okay. I had some eyesight changes, fluid changes, and discomfort in my left leg after flying and arriving in Salt Lake. My blood pressure readings were fine, however, after a quick stop to check that out based on the suggestions of my nurse sister-in-law last night. In any event, I chose to have a prenatal masssage to work out some kinks and improve circulation. I have felt a lot of movement since last night, after not feeling much for the last couple of days. In fact there is so much movement, I began to wonder if Melina was just letting me know she’s okay, or if she’s trying to tell me something else. Looking down at your pregnant belly is such a joy - amazing to see movement - to anticipate what comes out - oh so scary but so lovely.
My client Beatrice took good care of me in Salt Lake. She brought me a wonderful gift for Melina - an adorable dress for her first year clothes. It’s so much fun to be thinking of having a girl. She is fun to buy for, and fun to share the excitement with so many women, nationwide. The warmth outpours in amazing supply.
Thank you.
